Krrisp Pty Ltd (ABN: 38 609 221 570), trading as Ripper Squad, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose personal information in connection with your use of Ripper Squad. Ripper Squad is a business name and product brand under Krrisp Pty Ltd. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This Privacy Policy serves as our notice to you of how personal information is handled in connection with Ripper Squad.

2. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to your use of Ripper Squad. It does not apply to other Krrisp Digital products or services, which are governed by their own privacy policies. It does not apply to the websites, applications, or services of any connected service you authorise Ripper Squad to access. Those connected services are governed by their own privacy policies.

3. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Account and contact information, including name, email address, business information, and role.
  • Communications you send to us or to other users of Ripper Squad, including support enquiries.
  • Technical usage information, including device, browser, IP address, and information about how you interact with Ripper Squad.
  • AI inputs, including instructions, content, materials, and configuration you submit to AI features of Ripper Squad.
  • AI outputs, including content, recommendations, or other material generated by Ripper Squad in response to your inputs.
  • Connected service information, including information that a connected service makes available to Ripper Squad when you authorise Ripper Squad to access that connected service on your behalf.
  • Payment-related information, only where paid plans, trials, payment flows, or billing features are offered. At the date of this Privacy Policy, no such features are offered.

4. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • provide and operate Ripper Squad;
  • communicate with you about your account, the service, and changes to it;
  • respond to enquiries and provide support;
  • send marketing communications where you have consented;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • protect against fraud, misuse, and security risks;
  • process payments, only where paid plans, trials, payment flows, or billing features are offered. At the date of this Privacy Policy, no such features are offered.

We do not sell or rent personal information.

5. Information you provide to AI systems

Ripper Squad may include AI features when those features are made available. Material that you or your account members enter into Ripper Squad may be processed by AI model providers. You should not enter personal information about third parties into Ripper Squad unless you have a lawful basis to do so. You are responsible for the lawfulness of inputs you submit.

6. Information AI may generate or infer

AI outputs may contain or imply personal information about you or others. Information generated or inferred by AI is treated as personal information under this Privacy Policy where it relates to an identifiable individual. AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You should review outputs before relying on them.

7. AI training and processing by AI model providers

  • Ripper Squad does not use customer data to train its own AI models.
  • Third-party AI services that we use to provide AI features may process customer data under their own terms.
  • We take reasonable steps to configure AI model providers to limit training on customer data where the provider supports that configuration.

8. Automated processing and human oversight

We may use automated tools, including AI, to deliver Ripper Squad. We do not make decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects about an individual without human review. You may request human review of an automated decision affecting you by contacting us at the address in section 20.

9. Purpose limitation

Personal information is collected and used for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We do not use personal information for unrelated secondary purposes without your consent, except where permitted or required by law.

10. Disclosure to service providers

We may disclose personal information to:

  • hosting providers;
  • authentication providers;
  • analytics providers;
  • AI model providers;
  • connected-service providers, where you have authorised a connection;
  • professional advisers;
  • insurers;
  • regulatory authorities, where required by law;
  • successors in business;
  • payment processors, only where paid plans, trials, payment flows, or billing features are offered. At the date of this Privacy Policy, no such features are offered.

We provide service providers with only the personal information they need to perform their function. We take reasonable steps to work with service providers that handle personal information appropriately and in accordance with applicable law.

11. Connected services and provider authorisations

When you authorise Ripper Squad to access a connected service on your behalf, Ripper Squad may access that connected service to perform tasks you have requested. Authorisations are handled within available account and provider controls. You may revoke access where supported by the connected service or Ripper Squad account controls. The connected service's own privacy policy governs personal information held by that connected service.

12. International data transfers

Some service providers may process personal information outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure that handling of personal information remains consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles. By using Ripper Squad you acknowledge that personal information may be processed in jurisdictions outside Australia.

13. Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, modification, and disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. By using Ripper Squad you acknowledge this inherent risk.

14. Cookies and tracking

Ripper Squad uses cookies and similar technologies. We may use:

  • strictly necessary cookies for authentication, session management, and security;
  • functional cookies to remember your preferences, where supported;
  • analytics cookies, where enabled, to understand in aggregate how people use Ripper Squad.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Where non-essential cookies or analytics require consent or notice under applicable law, we will handle those cookies in accordance with that requirement.

15. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy or as required by law. When personal information is no longer needed we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

16. Your rights

The rights available to you depend on the law of your jurisdiction. We respect the following:

Australia (operating origin). Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles you may request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you, and you may lodge a complaint with us as described in section 17.

European Union, United Kingdom, and EEA. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to processing of your personal information you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

United States, where applicable. Where US state privacy laws apply to processing of your personal information you may have applicable US privacy rights, including rights of access, deletion, correction, opt-out of certain processing, and non-discrimination. The specific rights available depend on the US state in which you reside.

Other jurisdictions. We make reasonable efforts to honour equivalent statutory rights available under the law of your jurisdiction.

17. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with how we handle your personal information, contact us first at Info@krrispdigital.com.au and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, residents of Australia may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au. Residents of other jurisdictions may contact the applicable privacy regulator or authority in their jurisdiction.

18. Children's privacy

Ripper Squad is intended for use by adults operating businesses. Ripper Squad is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals below the applicable local minimum age. Where local law sets a minimum age for online consent or for handling of personal information, we comply with that age.

19. Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is published on the Ripper Squad website. Material changes will be notified through the Ripper Squad website or, where appropriate, by email.
